VACANCY: GROUP ASSISTANT IT MANAGER

Location: Matsapha, Eswatini
Reports to: Group IT Manager

Job Purpose:
The Group Assistant IT Manager is responsible for supporting the Group IT Manager in overseeing and maintaining all IT systems, infrastructure, and operations across the companies. The role involves providing hands-on technical support, managing networks and servers, enhancing cybersecurity measures, and ensuring seamless connectivity and system performance.

Key Responsibilities:
⦁ Act as a first point of contact for all IT-related issues.
⦁ Provide technical support to employees and resolve computer and network issues.
⦁ Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware and software.
⦁ Set up user email accounts, signatures, calendars, and synchronization settings.
⦁ Assist in managing server systems and cloud environments
⦁ Perform system backups, updates, and data recovery operations.
⦁ Monitor email traffic to detect suspicious attachments, phishing attempts, or malware.
⦁ Ensure compliance with privacy laws, data protection regulations, and internal IT policies.

Skills and Attributes
⦁ Strong technical skills and knowledge of computer hardware and software.
⦁ Experience with network administration and troubleshooting.
⦁ Knowledge of key cloud services e.g AWS, Azure or Google
⦁ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
⦁ Strong organizational and time management skills
⦁ Attention to detail and accuracy.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience
⦁ Advanced Diploma/equivalent in IT or Computer Science or any other related field.
⦁ 5 years’ experience in IT support, system administration, or network management.
⦁ Knowledge of inventory management systems.
